The ingenious Optivizor™ is designed specifically to protect the eyes after surgery or trauma to the eyes or face.

In addition to providing excellent protection to the eyes and face after surgery, the Optivizor™ also works for general eye protection as it causes no discomfort or obstruction for the dog during use.

Features :
•The Optivizor™ is made from clear soft PVC the vizor is produced flat, and when assembled creates a contoured shape to fit your dogs features. It is assembled by the Vets when needed, using the easy assembly instructions.

•The Optivizor™ is available in a range of five sizes from Toy, Small, Small/Medium, Medium and Large

•The design incorporates a head rest which cushions and allows space between the Optivizor™ and the animals face allowing for greater air flow and comfort.

•Provision has been made to allow for adjustment by using the side straps which allow for an increase in head length and the chin strap can be adjusted to allow for greater head width.

•The Peel off lines on the snout of the Optivizor™ have been incorporated as an adjustment means for animals with a shorter snout. (Simply snip and peel off).

•The Optivizor™ is easily cleaned with warm soapy water and dried with a towel •The Optivizor™ has been designed to accommodate dogs with a Occipital Bone of Prominence

•The Optivizor™ has been designed to accommodate an easy one step process for medicating the patient. The chin strap can be undone and the Optivizor™ will slide over the animals head without completely being removed. Medication can then be easily administered.

•An advantage of the Optivizor™ over the existing E Collar is the patients ears are outside the vizor and therefore eliminates the possibility of ear and yeast infection due to moisture.

•The Optivizor™ also eliminates the possibility of disorientation to the patient after eye surgery due to the echo effect caused by the existing E collar.

•The Optivizor™ is protected by patent (patent number US 7,543,551 B2)

Optivizor is a FANTASTIC product!!!
I have to start by saying how I came to find this wonderful product. My elderly shih tzu had emergency surgery to remove one of his eyes, he is also blind in the remaining eye, After the surgery the stress from going from a sighted dog to a fully blind dog was stressful enough for him and us but actually made worse by the dreaded lampshade collar. I set immediately to drilling down on the internet because I was certain someone somewhere had a better product. This was when I came upon the Optivizor! From the morning I ordered to when I received was only 2 days for my location and my Coco was off and running! He had absolutely no problems with it, his stress level dropped immediately AND he could negotiate the house without effort. Additionally, when he did bump into things the visor took the brunt at any angle while protecting his surgical site and prevented any risk of additional injury. As a post script, I took him into the vets for suture removal in it.Two of the pratice owners actually asked for all the information about the product as they felt this was clearly an item that could benefit other patients in their practice, even taking pictures of Coco in it to show others : I have to say you all have been great I would recommend this item to EVERYONE who cares to provide the utmost in comfort and safety for their pets!

The optivisor has prevented many pokes in Brandys eyes. My vet was impressed with this item and mentioned it was very useful

Eye Injury
The Optivizor is a well designed product. Buddha would not walk, eat or go outside with the E-Collar. We had to carry him everywhere and he is not light. He was able to do everything he wanted to do including an off leashvery careful hike in the woods with his optivizor face shield. He healed very quickly and I think that his happiness had a lot to do with it. Thank you for getting this to me overnight!! I shared your product and website with my vet and told them that it would be a great product to have on hand. Many dogs would be so much happier with this. One comment is that you need to be sure that it is on tight enough to be sure that you dog does not try to get it off. Buddha slept with it each night and did not bother with it. I am sure he was relived not to have the horrible E-collar on an could get comfortable. Theriault Family

Cone alternative
Very pleased with the product. My dog had a tumor removed from her eye and I requested the Optivizor be shipped in a few days. I was very pleased to receive it in time to be worn right after surgery.

Best Blind Dog Eye Protection On the Planet!!
I ordered the sm/med, had to reorder the size small for my cocker spaniel. i feel it runs a bit large. My only regret is that i did not order OPTIVIZOR sooner!!This gives my completely blind dog the courage and protection he needs to run freely about like a dog should!!! NO MORE HORRIBLE CONE!! NO MORE INJURED EYE! Sure hes still blind. Now hes able to travel,visit new places, chase birds and no worries about what hell run into. The OPTIVIZOR takes a beating and keeps on protecting my dog!! YAY OPTIVIZOR! I am here again ordering a size small for a corgie. Im also ordering a 2nd one for my cocker, he never takes it off!! BEST INVENTION OF ALL TIME! Thanks to the inventor and YAY to BIG DEEs for carrying it. *I say when in doubt order a size down, or order both sizes and return the one that doesnt fit. Its more affordable than the E-collar and much cheaper than a vet visit! HAPPY BLIND DOGS WEAR OPTIVIZORS! I think everyone should have an Optivizor for their dog, excellent eye protection! Better safe than sorry!

Slow Mom, Happy Dog
The vizor worked well. It did not come with instructions so it took a little while for me to realize how you could adjust it to your dogs unique head. It also could be cut down to fit the length of your dogs snout. The lines are there for the cutting but again I didnt notice at first.It seemed to run large but then I was using it on a Cocker Spaniel and they dont have the high foreheads or upright ears. She only got it off once and then seemed pretty peaceful with it. Its held on by Velcro so if your dog is persistent it may come off. Overall it was much better than the Elizabethan collar!
